The build doesn't warrant SRAM. Any other options still available (realise shimano would also work fine, just be wrong.)

Old Ned Old School Grand Master Feb 20, 2009 #2 KMC chains seem to be good value and readily available. I paid £5 for a 7/8 speed one at the Manchester jumble and it's chrome finish.
