Here's my 1997 orange P7

Bought new in 1997, started life with an alivio groupset and Mag 21 fork (long dead...)

Thousands of miles later, still mint, still awesome!

Built up now with 1998 Bomber z2 Bams and the following spec:

Frame: 1997 Orange p7 21" (owned since new)

Fork: 1998 Bomber Z2 Bam (owned since 2000, bought new)

It's a very clean looking build, I like it lots. The nickel frames do look cool when they're in good nick. :cool:

I also have a totally factory spec 1996 Orange P7 LX rigid... Original down to the grips... Must take some pics soon...
 
I would say that is a lovely bike. I really do have a thing for Oranges. They are simple yet always nice to look at.

I notice you have a '95 too....would you say there was any geometry changes between them? Just curious about how Z2's would go with an even older P7. I take it you like them on you 97?
 
Yeah they seem to work well on the P7... The frame here was bought as a 1997 spec machine but was actually made in 1996. Side-by side it seems to have the same geometry as the other P7s I have (a 95 and a 97). I think they may have changed geometry slightly in 98 or 99 when the nickle finish ceased... Someone'll prob put me right tho!
