Too late for me, don't know much about the post 1995 stuff...
I've got one of these- ( well in pieces in a box ;-)
Its my second - after my 19stone friend raced it for a while and a crack developed at the wishbone/seat tube weld.
My first was a polished one -these latter ones sometimes have alittle discolouration under the paint - they might be plasm acr welded(?)
They ride very well - if a little short in the top tube - My old one felt better than a cheap Litespeed (IMHO)
Well worth the £300 - just listen for creaks when you unload the pedals!
