96 Cannondale Super V Carbon

Retro Newbie
This is my second MTB but the first one to use off road. Back then, I was still in college flipping magazines and catalogues choosing between Trek Y-22 and Super V. On 1995 Summer/Fall, a Super V Carbon 900 arrived my LBS, I just bought it without a second thought~

I've replaced the CODA stem from a single bolt to a 2-bolts version and upgraded the saddle, Magura race-line hydraulic brakes (John Tomac Edition), Spinergy wheelsets w/ cook brothers quick release skewers, HOPE quick release clamp for seatpost, M636 pedals. The rest are all original.

I haven't done much off road riding over the past 10 years, so he's still pretty shinny and is being used as a commuter now (so I've put the semi-slick on for ease of pavement riding) :)

Nice, tidy. There's another SuperV from a similar age on here, think its the 1000 in polished :D

Straight from catalogue, I prefer polished over any color and I was planning to get a polished Super V. When I saw this yellow frame, I just couldn't resist to take it home. Since then, yellow with red is always my preference on color combo.
