I'm not sure I'd have that much faith in a bike manufacturer who can't get bar-ends on the right way round in their publicity shots :)
 
They are the correct way up, its some kind of copy of Cannondales XYZ jobbies

Yes, thats clear because the clamping part is under the bars.
