Anybody know anything about these? (The non-sealed bearings version). My 2001 San Andreas has some play in it and, so the pivot must be worn in some way. Haven't dared open it up yet to have a look in case lots of small parts fall out

Can anybody talk me through the process of stripping the pivot and bushings. I have had some feedback here: http://forums.mtbr.com/showthread.php?t=233263

But I need the how-to bit now.

Cheers! :D

theres nothing in them thats small
a hard anodized shaft and two bushings like turner use

thats it youcan probably match the bushings up with something from igus

well, took it apart today - surprised how easy it was. undo 2 bolts, drift out the pivot...and err... that's it. Gave the pivot a clean and grease, cleaned the bushes which looked in reasonable nick, greased them and put it all back together. Literally 5 minute job. And now there's no play in the swingarm - hurray :D Not sure why, but not complaining.
