<pedant> technically, aren't all brakes that pivot at one end (ie, U brakes are NOT) cantilever brakes? </pedant>

Didn't realise this was going to become an opinion poll... :shock:

Just wanted to know whether they were a v or cantilever as regards the appropriate brake levers... still not entirely sure!
