I wouldn't start too late, been reading the details of this, last year a lone late starter was relieved of his bike while riding through London by a group of yoofs :evil:
This is so tempting, but looks like a logistical nightmare. No back up, no sweeper bus, no support, breakfast on the beach and a swim.
