Well, ive mostly cleaned things up, added the following tho,

magura hs33 evolution

weinmann v rims with some quadra disk hubs &new 8 spd cassette
(quick cheep replacement while i decide what to look for plus i can try disks with them if i ever get round to it??)

new kona saddle with fart grooove technology!

new cables n outers

and a shit load of elbow grease!


whats still to do..........loads :roll:



got some Rock shox Dart2 80mm to for next to nothing, there 2006, but i want to try them as im not sure ill like suspention or not yet, if i do ill try n grt a set of pace rc 36?(like the ones on andy.l lava dome :mrgreen: )

re paint the hs33's black or re-do the silver n blue?

replace/clean any more rusty bolts there are left,

get a better seat post, not sure what yet tho :? :shock:

also would like to re paint it white, but i might get another frame to do that with and transfer the parts?????? :shock:

I can't believe i let. it get into such a state before, it's a work in progress project, so i'll keep getting some bits for it to make it better as i go, i've put on the rockshox now with a new stem and bar, and headset. what a difference it's made! Cant believe it it's so much nicer to ride! So i'll keep my eye out for something better and a bit more retro, i'll put up some pics tomorrow

Are you sure you've got a Cinder Cone underneath that paint?

Yeah, ordered it from my local bike shop where i used to do some work bitd, came with two cinder cone stickers which i didn't put on as i thought it was lieing at the time due to all the the random bit's i had on it lol it's black metalic paint i thought the lava had a green tint to it in 95? Might be wong tho?
