ok so now i'm getting bored of this too 
seriously tho, my DMR Trailstar is being 're-done' as a kinda freeride hardtail/do everything bike whereas it's been set up just for dirt/street before but i'm finding it a bit limiting...so to the question:
currently it has a single chaindisc/ring up front with a roller chain guide bolted to the iscg tabs on the frame. when i fit the 2 ring/bash guard/front mech i presume i will have to ditch the chain guide as its static i cant see how it would allow the chain to move between chainrings? basically i want to keep some kind of chain guide as this bikes gonna be going down lots does anybody know what i need to do?
