Manitou 1 Series Braces

When I placed my three Answer-licensed Manitou forks together I realised how different the braces were - anyone know the time line or have any other versions of the underside milling/bolt arrangements to show?

Mr K

PS. Pics follow in batches... and yes, I know which ones are back to front already...

afaik c has the original fork crown. the others are fork crowns of later production.

That's what I'd say. a looks to be a Mani3, b looks to be Mani2, only c is a Man1 crown same as my Bradburys and my Mani1s

My Mani 1 crown which was an early version (from some rich schmuks race rig BITD) is distinctly C

It's now cracked at the bolt holes and across the top where the steerer enters - was going to get my mate to CNC a new one off pattern, seeing as thats pretty much all it was......

All the braces look the same! ;)
Agree with the above posts that C is an origional crown and all the others are from later models(2's or 3's).
