Just took delivery of a '98 GT Timberline, 18", red. 525 Reynolds Steel, not the aluminium version which came out the same/following year.

Going to single speed it using the parts I've got and are taking up room:
Mavic D521 on LX hubs
Project 2 forks (possibly RST Mozo Pro's)
DX V-brakes
Qranc risers
New GT lock-on grips
New deore cranks with a Middleburn DH ring, 36t
New aheadset

Edit:
Just bought a BB

Pics to follow later tonight, of the frame anyhow.
(This one WILL actually be built)

I might actually finish this one, unlike the other ones I started and had a change of mind half way through :roll:
 
Where did you find this one?

Cant remember seeing it on Ebay....unless I missed it when on my hols last week :roll:

Errr, E-bay week before last :D Picked up for the princley sum of £8.51
P&P was £15 though :( but it was courier delivered :cool:
 
Unemployed for a few hours, went to a funeral and did this to my bike (not at the funeral btw)

Got to trim cable length a wee bit and fit the rear cable through the eyelets:
EDIT: Did it at 11pm. Took the MrControl brake modulator thingies and put noodles back on. It looks cleaner.

Waiting for the BB to be delivered to fit the cranks.
Seatpost shim's sorted thanks to development_cycle.
 
I'm thinking of put my Panaracer Fire's on it with the red bead and donating my red Club Roost saddle off my Karakoram. I'll replace that with a black one.
My cranks are black and I've one pair of DX spds left which will make an appearance for photos :LOL:

Just bought a pair of Crank Bros 50/50XX with Red plates :D
