Hope disc brakes

Looking to get some Hopes, but the older stuff. Are they all compatible with each other? I see number 3 callipers and such and such a lever etc C2's M3's and so on. Fancy getting some bits and bobs together and overhauling/restoring them, easy enough ? or a bad idea? Any info will be helpful.

Let me know how it goes.

I've got a full set of 4-pot DH brakes I never got round to renovating....

Got put on hold when the Pistons looked like they were going to need too much wet-and-dry work to get them smooth again.

You might encounter the same problem

Theres someone on the bay selling an original hope first gen,but he wants a ton for it

The guys at Hope are really helpful and will happily chat about any old part issues you are having, if you have specific part questions their website is also full of useful info and videos showing you how to do stuff.

So far I have mixed and matched Hope stuff with

Grimeca (cos they were red)

Formula (cos they were gold

Deore XT (cos they matched the groupset)

Using Hope levers, I've attached and bled and all that and had very good performance.
