At £110 posted that was a superb buy for someone, with the Mavic chainset and Simplex d/t shifters I'm guessing the wheels and rear mech were tidy too.

I did faff about a bit trying to get the size from the guy, but someone musta taken the gamble.

equipment alone is worth more than the frame .

Most people don't seem scared of flying in modern commercial aircraft or riding in Lotus Elises. Both use bonded Aluminium.

And so do any carbon forks with Alu steerers. Of course there are dogs around where someone got the mix or cure wrong, but it's the same with badly welded frames.
