Looking for a silver/pewter ano. 100mm x 0 Deg stem for my Heckler and really wanna get something CNC rather than forged/welded etc. Anyone got any suggestions?

Here's a photo, as you can see, current stem is waaay too short [50mm]..

I guess Hope are the obvious choice due to the range of colours, still a damn ugly stem IMO.

I liked the USE race stem I had, but they are only available in black with +/-8° rise :?

TBH the only modern stem I buy these days is Thomson

Yeah, I'm generally the same, but fancied a change.. I've had a Thomson of one flavour or another on my bike since 2001..

Might have to check out the Hope one, haven't seen it..

Funilly enough, I've got one sitting on my desk that came through the post today. Seems as well machined as a Thomson, the clamp area is more industrial looking though.

I like it.. Just ordered one in Pewter..

Best part is the Zero Degrees bit, hardly any stems offer this?

the first gen Race Face Deus is about the best looking modern stem IMO, the machining matches my Cooks post really well too :)

(all a little academic seeing as youve already plumped for something)

Always good to hear an opinion tho ;)

I'll post the Hope stem up here when it arrives, CRC informed me today it was on its way

Got to admit I have a soft spot for these as well, the bar clamp is very well designed with the interlocking.

Like a Monkey Grip? Never really trusted that type over four bolts TBH..

Hope has landed, I'll get a photo and post it here at lunch ;)

Here she is.. Lovely piece of machining, great to see the UK producing something that looks desirable [have never really been a fan of Hope in the past - in fact this is my first piece of Hope kit!]
