Raleigh (really old, 1949)

Old School Grand Master
I picked this up the other day.
Nice for when I don't need to go anywhere, and no kid is ever going to try and nick it.

Lots of nice little features. I love the battery pack that backs up for the dynamo. I thought they were invented by the Busch & Muller dynamo system I used to run on my tourer. The forks have a lock on the crown, so casual thieves can't ride off on it.
Heavy, not rewarding in the same way as a mountain bike, but I still like it.
This one was built in 1949.

similar to an FW hopper i used to have from 1953.

it was seriously heavy, but with a sturmey AW i could really get up speed and destroy other commuters. they used to look a bit horrified and scared.

watch those rod brakes though, about as effective at stopping as putting your feet down in flip flops.
