Sure there was a thread on this recently, i used to race 1/10 electric indoor on a carpet, was fun for a while but kind of drifted away from it, had a selection of Tamia cars (the club raced mainly 1/10 scale salloons) and a Koyosho nitro chassis which i modified to take a Metro V6R4 shell  , never raced that in the club though, they said it'd be too noisy and smelly

Spent a fortune on a Tamia Escort cosworth, electronic speed controller, fully ball raced, uprated driveshafts, diffs, shocks, wheels, tyres, motor heat sink etc, had a mental wind race motor in it, was very quick for about four minutes when the battery was stone dead

Always fancied the 1/8 buggies though, they look fun

na i dont race, i dont even have a rc car....... but that looks really  :!:

i liked some of the retro rc cars on a thread on here a while back, i might start searching e-bay now
something else to spend my hard earned cash on

looks like a Gold Tub RC10 :D
very nice

i saw a very rare RC10 a little while ago, it was a flat carbon chassised RC10 with all white plastics on the suspension etc & had the first "stealth" transmission
it was the car that Craig Drescher used at the 1990 Worlds & is supposedly the original stealth RC10!
he had it with him when we raced at Slough a couple of months ago & he said he'd been trying to get associated to give him the car for years :D
i wish i took a couple of pics of it now

Used to race b.i.t.d,Tamiya Hornets and then later a Boomerang, wasnt very good but a good laugh, tend to collect/restore shelf queens now,got an unmade boxed Tamiya Vanquish in the loft, plus an Avante, still on the look out for an Egress

Heres a Kyosho Optima 4WD Pro i restored a while ago

The pics above are just some I yanked from the web as I dont have any of mine (its in my parents loft I think)

Mine was actually a little earlier than the one in the pic, I think a 1992 worlds team version, previously owned and raced by a Richard Isherwood, who did alright on the scene BITD. Mine was fully kitted with carbon fibre components and the stealth drive train from when Isherwood had it. I used it hooked up to a yokomo? 14D motor and it was awesome!

a few crap pics of some of my old cars....still got my radio gear and chargers for when i start again (i'm starting to get the itch lately too :D ) frankly i was crap:
