Its a 'proper' 19 ~ 20" frame, reynolds 501 tooooobing. I was going to put, wait for it....

200GS mechs, shifters and chainset on it! Phew...
 
Inspired I went to my local tip in Nottingham, dreaming of Raleighs Carltons etc.

The very friendly chap there said that they got loads of bikes but they had to scrap them for 'health and safety' reasons. They weren't allowed to sell them or even give them away!
 
Darn a wee bit too small unless its got a long top tube he said hopefully ;)

Just spotted some Falcon Pathfinder transfers on ebay so a proper restoration of the frame could be attempted.

With that in mind, how much would you want for the frame and fork only posted.

Well, its Reynolds 500 toooooooobing and its 22.5 BB to seatpost and 23" top tube.

Those ebay graphics are the exact same ones. Blue collar rebuild it is then? :D
 
There is one of them up in my parents garage loft! :cool:

My first road bike, loved it!

Ended up being my winter hack training steed. Never serviced it, but it never needed it.

Probably the best bike I'll ever own ;)
