Hi Folks,

Only my second real build so be kind....

This is the newest addition to the stable. She's a 1994 GT RTS 1 frame, 19'', made in America and is anodized black - came from a forum member here. Although she is a 1994 (serial confirms this) she comes with 1996 edition decals. Haven't made up my mind what to do with these yet.

I got the frame for a very reasonable price and decided to build her up with parts I already have to get a feel for the bike then may go more "period correct"

Anyhoo hope you like......

Nice starting point.

Front wheel looks good, do you have a matching pair?

I think with those forks you could accent the blue, ie replace the yellow/red decals with blue and then get a blue Flite, grips etc

Cheers for the comments.

Not a big colour person when it comes to bikes - had thought about de-decaling it and going stealth ;)

Don't have a matching rear but was thinking a nice blue hope hub.

Daj, I think its the lack of proportion that makes it look long :? When its fitted with cranks I think it will look better.

As sad as I am to say at this stage, we don't have a bond yet

Maybe after the first full ride ;)

All you need is some blue grips!

Nice looking build

I finally took my RTS out for its first ride yesterday, and I love it! Comfy all day type ride, you'll bond with it no worries!!!

it would have had a nice syncros post in it if you got back to me.

Apologies Doug, I've been manic with things since before Chrismas - mainly getting married :D I take it the post has gone now? :?

Again apologies

How is your RTS coming along?
