if the target PC is behind a router you'll need to setup passes for certain ports to use RDP (windows remote desktop) or VNC

what i'd do is use RDP, cos it's built into windows and uses NT authorisation (MUCH more secure than VNC).

put the target (home) PC on a static internal IP address and allow the RDP ports access from the internet to that IP.

at this stage, you should be able to connect from the remote site (office) using the IP address of the internet connection (not the IP address of the PC). however, this is subject to change at the ISP's whim. i'd therefore use DynDNS to get a yourname.dyndns.org name - a client on the PC ensures this always points to the correct IP address.
