Show me your Tioga Disc Drive equipped bikes!

Crayons, that Wicked is wicked

Pure BoTM winning material

To me, that is pure retro 90's MTBing.

Well done that man! :D

I have been thinking of buying one myself for the Fat but just do not know.
What would be the right price for one, complete with rim and hub,..in Nos condition? (i know one for sale which is only for sale for me, he won't sell to anybody else)

and what about the weight?,.is it much heavier then a normal wheel?
last question,...what about the weight?,...this time mine?
I heard that you can ride it if you are under the 85kg? (i'm not  )

In answer to the question way back on the first page... how do they work?

As a small person did you ever hammer rows of nails into boards then thread string between the two rows to create an artistic pattern? All the rage in 1970s Stockport - I tell you. I was very proud of the viking ship wot I did in school (on a nice baby blue felt background). Actually - like most things in the 70s it was pretty pants.

Well basically disk drives work on the same principle - the string thing, not the pants.

Try it on paper, draw a circle with equidistant points (these are in effect spoke holes) then draw a line form each point to every other point. Put a hub in the middle and sort of do the same thing again and that's the rough idea.
