GT STS

If you look at the '98 GT catalogue here on this very site :D > http://www.retrobike.co.uk/gallery2/mai ... emId=10537

You will see it's a '98 LTS. LTS 1000 at a guess because it looks to have the better machined back end (which was on the 1000 only iirc).

If you're getting rid give me a shout.

Looks indeed like a LTS 1000 or a GT LTS DH.
I'll have a close look tomorrow when my eyes are more open.

I saw 2 in 1 day!. both at the headtube. trying to remeber the name of the race, gump might also know it. was part of the south west series, kinda 1/2way between plymouth & exeter. some forest slightly north of the A38.
andy@yetifan.coms dad also broke one as did the MBi boys.
 
bottom bracket shell always went on the sts's i knew
still tryin to track "my one" down ,want,want,want.

@ Scant , thanks for the offer but cant afford any more bikes after the RTS

@ John : Probably will as I need funds for the RTS .
 
I remember a few that cracked. We then smashed them up once the warranty claim was sorted. Bizarrely they gave a lot of resistance against hammers :roll:
