Its nice to know that the really big companies believe in looking after their customers.

Lat Sunday I broke my helmet on the South Downs ride - it split when it impacted with a tree :LOL:

So Monday evening I spoke to Specialized customer service who said return it. Sent my helmet on Tuesday with a cheque equiv. to 40% of RRP. Today a new shiny S-Works 2D arrived.

Speedy service indeed and I'm ready to ride again this weekend.

Well done Specialized. Good eggs of the week award to you :D

Yeah, i had a old decibel with a crack [ from a tree ] in it, my local LBS just swapped it for a s works 2D too, still got it brand new in its bag, anyone want to buy it :?:
They do have a very good customer support team.
 
I take your crashing into a tree and I raise it to a "Hello, Specialised, my dog ate my helmet. Is this covered by your crash replacement policy?"

Response "ha ha ha ha ha ha ha"

Followed by "Of course! How's about a new £100 helmet for £40? Just write us a letter telling us the details so we can all have a good laugh."
