This is the base for my new winter project :)

It Arrived in late summer from the US but i did not have time to start building until now.



First i needed to replace the Bottom bracket bearings...

I would like a Salsa or Cook Stem, bit for now the Syncros will do :)

thanx, you mean the handlebars ?

they just happened to be in my partsbox with the Syncros stem.

I will replace them with a Syncros hardcore bar as soon as i find one :)

What year is the frame ?
 
It is supposed to be a 1989 frame in XL.

It came with a Manitou fork but i prefer a rigid one :)

I don´t know if the original Decals have been replaced because the old frames usually have black ones.

she is shaping up nicely, the black bits will look amazing - and I would go for a Salsa stem personally, will suit better than the Syncros :)

Looking very tidy indeed. As I was scrolling down I thought "hmm, not sure about the bars" and "wonder what cranks are going on that?" and both are now answered.

For what it is worth I like the look of the Syncros stem as it matches nicely with the seatpost but with your other two thoughts you won't exactly go wrong
