ok, i've just checked the rota, i have the 27th, 28th and 29th off so this is doable, but for me it is a 3 1/2 drive according to the rac route planner, so was thinking of stopping over in the area, any recommendations for relatively cheap b+b in the area?

what i'm thinking is drive up on the afternoon/evening of the 27th and sleep over (i would have finished at 6am that morning so will need some daytime to sleep) then ride cannock with you guys, poss stay over somewhere again, then drive to afan or cwmcarn and ride then go home on the 29th.

i'm working pretty much all xmas and new year so this could be my own little prezzie for myself!

any help really appreciated!

About 9.30 - 10.00?

I think the main ride starts 10.30-ish and the early one 8.30ish.

can we comfirm the time of the later start as my back only lasts about three hours at the mo :?:
