Seized the opportunity to quickly assemble the bits i've been hoarding for the race lite whilst the missus was out shopping with her mum  I bought the frame a few months back, it could do with a respray and needs a bit of a reweld at the seat clamp (eventually) but thought I could use it as a bit of a light rider/commuter in the meantime, i'll probably rattle can any real bits of missing paint for now and pray it don't break ;) .

Note that I don't plan to ride it with the seatpost sooo high, just shoved it in a bit for the pic! It's a pretty standard (ish) build and I wanted to keep it a bit stealth like.. I plan to ditch the road tyres(as soon as I decide what to fit), will strip the anodising on the seatpost most likely and maybe get the forks serviced if i'm feeling flush ;)

Very nice build already mind!

I knew that I should've lowered it a bit! My good lady has been making fun of me already, she knows that I'm a short arse aspiring to be 6 foot 5

Is it me or is the crown the wrong way round? :?

Looks it doesn't it, bolt heads should be on the front rather than back.

Good point guys, to be honest I wondered myself but the fork was fitted the same way on a bike I bought for parts. Personally I quite like the way it looks, suits my character

Thanks for the comments so far by the way, I knew I should have fitted the seatpost properly before taking the pictures
