I had one of these babies years back in the grey, rough matt finish !! Nightmare when the smallest blobs of grease hit it :? Took practically a whole bottle of Fairy each time to wash the bugger !! ha ha..

Did love it still tho.... Only thing was, I did kick myself for not saving that little further and buying the gorgeous polished Aluminium Elite !! Felt about a stone lighter !!!

BITD I ordered my original "O" frameset in that colour but they were out of stock so I got one of the 1st black ones. Project "O" is a 17" frame in that colour. Was contemplating keeping it in that colour and going for the 'full set' :D , then I changed my mind...... this "O"s going to be something different. :D
The 'elite' is on my wishlist as a 'formula' is one of those 'unobtainium' bikes.

Top notch stuff. Is it enterned in BoTm yet :D

Cheers John.
Was entered in the Sept BOTM before it got 'broken' in at the d2d. Had a couple of 'nice clockwork mate!' comments on the course!.... just before the seatpin broke! :D
Thanks to all that voted for the "O" that month  ..... S/S"O" coming soon.

Cheers,

re sizing:

I've also had the 19" but the P7, and now I ride an 16" GT sizing is hard. Depends a lot of what riding to be done, in the really hard terrain a small frame is preferable, but for a more allround ride a medium is better and if it's a lot of dirtroads and easier terrain I would opt for the 19" because it just feels a bit more comfortable and stretched! and you can run a short stem to make the steering quick. I'm 178cm tall so I can ride them all without a problem really...

Aye Aye Captain :D
I've always gone for a smaller frame myself with a longer extention of seatpost. It just feels 'right' for me. The 19" O with the higher rise stem felt like it was front wheel 'light' when I rode at the d2d. Flattening the riding position suits me far better. I like my bikes to look aesthetically good but at the same time they're all riders so they have to function.
I've tried shorter stems and riser bars on other bikes and it just Isn't me.... as my 'non-retro' ride shows. :D
