Protecting anodized rims

Hi
Can anyone tell me how I might protect some purple anodized rims from color loss due to brake rub? Would a softer compound brake pad help? Are there sealants for such things? Any help is appreciated.

No, the anodizing with scrub off pretty quickly as its only microns thick of a coating.

More so if you use it in offroad muddy conditions. It is a fact of life.

Apply grease to braking surface.If at any point you feel the brake start to work,apply more grease.
