Thanks for all the kind comments.
In a funny way a Scott got me into old mountain bikes.
Due to circumstances was looking for a bike as a winter runaround and a mountain bike was advertised locally.Rang up- a Scott,no decals.
Tatty but XT '90 kit apart from rear wheel so brought for £30 in 2001
Small crack on side of headtube and top of one seatstay.
Rattle can spray rear stays to cover damage, commuter for year.
Rattle can spray rear stays and main tubes white 2003, put nice XT kit on her.
2005 down graded to commuter and sold in 2006!
Cracks did,nt get any worse with my 14 stone :shock:
