Hi all,

Not exactly retro but I thought I'd post some pics of my build.

Mostly transplanted from a 2011 Cube Ltd Pro.

Frame stripped and re powder coated in RAL 6027
Alex Rims
Manitou minute ltd fork (OEM on Cube)
Nukeproof bars
Nukeproof tapered headset for straight 1 1/8 steerer.
WTB Rocket V Saddle
DMR Defy 50mm stem
DMR lock on grips
Deore M445 Disks with adaptors to fit 203mm front and 180mm rear disks.
XT Clutch rear mech (B/day pressie from mrs)
SLX 10 speed shifter.
Raceface narrow wide single chainring
XT BB with Deore pedal arms
Outland sealed bearing platforms
Schwalbe Magic Mary's (Heavier than a small planet)

Bit of a rolling upgrade project but here you go.

Can i ask where you are from? saw one of these today up peak, not you by any chance was it?

I had one as my first (fancy) modern mountain bike. Mine was mostly transplanted from a 2014 boardman comp but rapidly upgraded.

That will quite happily take a 130mm 650b fork (I ran Pikes on mine) - so don't feel you have to be limited to 26" forks when you come to upgrade.

Sold it to a chap in Poland and still regret doing so.
