Found at the tip and rebuilt into the following:

GT Talera non triple trriangle frame, 4130 cromo.

Araya VP20 rims HG50 hubs, DT swiss spokes

Mountain LX F&R mechs with 105 modifications.

M730 XT cranks w. Biopace XT rings

TAYA 9spd chain

Ultegra 7spd bar end shifters

Exage Sport levers

Ritchey drops.

Continental 'Survivor' 2.1 rear, Nokian perished specilal front.

Rides like it looks - A 30lb lump that will keep on going all day.

Near period spec for an early '90s special tourer.

Well, its big, brash and blue, but it feckin' works!

Didnt miss a beat at the Lincoln ride today......and we have photos to prove it :shock:

Come on man you didn't really find that at the tip. :shock:? Who would throw that out. I'm on building something exactly like it based on an orbit 26inch tourer. Built like a tank and ridable all day! You lucky, lucky sod
