Hello everyone.

I'm new here.

I've just finished a not period accurate 90 Dawes Tracker.

But now I'm on a 1997 Marin Eldridge Grade.

Looking forward to sharing progress and learning from you guys

Hi

Have been in the background for a while but have been building my collection over the last few months.

I now have the following:

Proflex 857
Proflex 855
Pace RC200 F6
Dave Yates Diablo

GT RTS 2 with Spins
GT RTS 1
Kona Cindercome

After Covid does one do people want a meet up in the Forest of Dean?

Hi folks,
a few years ago I realised I was enjoying riding an '98 Trek 800 Sport as much as my main ride - an '06 Trek 8500 ZR....possibly something to do with the thrill of trying to stay on a heavy unstable steal object as it picks up momentum downhill! Anyway it got me looking and with all Google searches for retro bikes leading here - thanks to you this site has been a fantastic.

I picked this Muddy Fox Sorcerer Pro up the other day to get started on. I haven't seen another like it so if anyone knows the year that would be great to know. Currently it has full Exage ES groupset.

Hello all! What a treat it’s been to go down the retro rabbit hole here. I started mountain biking in the early 90’s and I’m loving seeing all these bikes and parts from those years! Hoping to post some pics of my 94’ Pine Mountain, which was was my first “real” bike that I raced, and I’ve continued to ride it since.

Also, I’ve just started to build up a 93’ Bianchi Project 5 as a gravel/touring rig.

Cheers!

This site is a great inspiration and source of knowledge and although I'm only building a low-end heavy as f**k Mongoose at the moment and don't have the money for all the niiiiccceeee rarities you folks have in your collections I'm happy to join the community today!
Behold the Frankengoose, my hopefully soon finished kindergarden-and-grocerys commuter:
