Black GT Zaskar - rebuild

This is my first retro rebuild, bought the bike on 2000. Spent the last 6 months rebuilding.

The bike is a 1997 annodised black GT, yes this is the original colour. Still used and is my main MTB.

Appreciate views.

Nice looking bike,

don't see many of the anodised black ones around.

Thanks tried different ways to get more colours on the bike, but nearly all black seemed the only way forward.

I need to get a rh x739 shifter as the one on there has problems and would love to get a black GT rear hun :twisted:
 
Nice and solid looking like a Zaskar should, especially one that hides behind bushes. I will say one thing though.......wheel reflectors :LOL:
 
Apparently a small run was completed of annodized bikes in '97. A few were imported to the UK, so I am told anyway.

I will get some better pictures up, these don't do it justice :evil:
