Where abouts in Bournemouth are you? The train is a pain in the arse, but I was considering it too.
You have to transfer at Brockenhurst onto the old train down to Lymington.
Not sure what to do yet. I'm in Christchurch but geting a bike(s) into my car is a pain in the arse.
The seats are still filthy from the last time I did it!

just so you know, if you can't be arsed swapping trains, its only about 5 miles on 1 road straight from brock to lymington, but the train does stop right at the ferry port.
