Thanks guys, would you say i am better off getting Shimano rotors to match the brakes ? I've not mixed across manufacturers before with rotors, would it make a difference do you think ?
Hi there, I was using the avid rotors with xt callipers/pads and had no issues.. they were really good, no noise and operation was great. I’d still be using them now but the wheels I bought came with centre lock discs so I can’t use them anymore.
you can mix and match brands, the only issue I've found is floating rotors aren't always compatible as the rivet position can mean it hits the calliper.
