XT help

Must admit to having my eye off the ball on modern bits for a year or 2 but I have just picked up a Rocky Mountain ETSX and it need some new cranks. I'm thinking XT (as I always do) but wondered if the big S are due to update the current model soon or are they fairly new out?

Latest crop of XT is fairly new (2 years old max). XTR has just had a major revamp so expect that to trickle down in say another year or so

Pity current Raceface cranks (X-type) and bearings are rubbish though.

I wouldn't worry about XT being upgraded, they are a breeze to install and work a treat.
