The trails have been so dry recently! They're getting so dusty I had a good few moments of rear wheel drift on today's ride.
Been looking at more modern bikes recently as fancy a bit of a project (I'm thinking a drop bar hardtail monster Ross / hardcore gravel bike) but nothing looks anywhere near as nice as the Mount Vision
Much as I like more modern geometry for its capability & confidence, I think I can honestly say I have more fun on this bike on most of the trails I regularly ride.

God I love the Marin Mount Vision! When I had mine, it was a real head turner, firstly when you're n the start line of a marathon you get the amused looks because MTB philistines assume it's a £99.99 catalogue special, and a second time when you pass them on the first climb.
I regret selling mine a few years back, but the wife was nagging me about 3 bikes being too many and I had to lose one to keep the peace. Now I have a bit more space (and a better system to obscure the true number of bikes and parts in my collection) I think I'd quite like to build myself another Mount Vision.
Is jimwise68's Mount Vision a 21 inch frame? Quite a rare size, it seems.
