and Pickle, if it was anywhere else other than my back garden, I might seriously consider missing it, but I know the lad who's designed the course, and he says its as technical as a cross course ever gets (which is my strength).........

most cyclo x races in this country are around football fields , but go to a few races in belgium and northen france and you will struggle to finish . ;)

I know, I used to do quite a few if I want racing XC MTB.

Most were a lap of a school field and a bunny hop over a log to allevite the bordom! :LOL:

Tsk, the riders of today. Many a bleary Saturday morning was spent trying to find our way down many (dowhnhill) hillsides on the NEMBA and then later the NAMBS circuits after being out on the lash the night before!
