As for not being able to ride.

Pornography. Bike or otherwise.

Assuming you mean "bike-porn" to look at if not able to ride? ;)

Re:

I had been struggling with the side-effects of the treatment, which were all predicted, but it is a relief as they subside between cycles.

With that in mind I decided to take my new motorbike out for a ride.

First trip out was to fill up with fuel, and then make my way to an empty Sports Field Car Park just up the road from me. I practiced some tighter and tighter figure of eights, which is something that I was shown on my refresher course. Then off out along a winding country road that I know well, with a lot of varying double bends and flat straights.

I am pleasantly surprised at how comfortable I feel on this motorbike, but I can only assume that it comes from years of riding Mountain Bikes with a full on stretched out Cross Country Racing set-up; Saddle higher than the flat Bars! I love the way I can get tucked into the bike, in contrast to the set-up on the bike I was using for the refresher course. It is a really flickable machine.

Anyway, I stopped off for a few pictures on this somewhat damp February morning:

Nice to see you out on the bike Pip. Bike looks great, nice colour, and you look happy too, motorbikes do that to you, but you know that already

Is that today? i went out on mine for a blast today and ended up getting caught in a rain storm, no sun here.

Re:

I had the previous model 636 (A1P) in the same silver, should never have sold it. Very nimble and nice midrange for a middleweight.
Nice to see you out on your new kwakker!
