Looking for help for my Neighbour who.....

…..Is 78, and bought his bicycle second hand when he was twenty-one, a Hercules road cycle. That is some provenence!

Last week he was out riding, and the back wheel and rim gave way and collapsed.

Does anyone here, (Hopefully near Worthing, W Sussex) have a karma or cheap S/A three speed 26x 1-3/8 wheel going spare?

High Wycombe, Bucks, so a ways off. Its a 26 1 3/8 chrome steel wheel with AW hub, hub seems ok, though I haven't ridden it really. Rim has some light rust. Probably worth keeping an eye out to see what else comes up though, if they are closer!

Oh and its rim brake, not rod, which matters.

Let me take some pics and make sure its actually ok, its on a bike at the moment while I try and figure it out if I want to keep the bike so was kind of trying the bike out, so I can check the gears work ok, it's a chrome rim, so will check to see how much its broken through as well.
