Re: New (NTH) project: celeste pearl italian steel

and I'm planning to have these done in the pink color of the Bianchi decals on the frame.

Good idea

Cheers!

Only thing is that my go-to painter is a powdercoat-kind of guy, which leaves me with RAL colors.. And these are quite limited when it comes to pink tones, I noted.
So, I'll have to see how that original plan is going to turn out.

It's an awesome bike!
The front canti brakes require some tweaking, but that's about it. And some cable ends, of course..

Viva Italia ;)

Let's see if I can get hold of an RS Mag21 steerer/crown assembly in 1" (both threaded and ahead accepted), to have the opportunity to suspend the front end..

Would this qualify as a 'blue collar' build, BTW  ;)..?

Re:

Took La Bella Donna ;) out for a spin today. It took a while before I found some dry trails; I don't really like ploughing through fresh mud..

Even discovered a stretch of a new trail that seems to be under construction still; hail to the builders :D!
Quite a nice variation of technical turns going both up and downhill. A bit bumpy though and that rigid steel back end was not so forgiving today, unfortunately..
Enjoyed the ride nonetheless!

I'll save the cleaning for some other time :)
