1 x 10 Drive train on Retrobike.

Re:

^^^^^^ Exactly, I'm glad that you agree, the op's question was could he fit a 10 speed cassette on a pre '97 freehub. My words of advice still stand.

Ya being picky now, he's been here a while and knows what fits on who, just if anyone has done it with pictures of hot retro frame 1x10 action

LGF has hit the nail on the head, apologies if I wasn't clear in my original post. I want to know if anyone has done this on a Retrobike, pre 1997. I have had a look at the post in the post '98 section and yes, they have been doing this but I want to know if anyone has setup 1 x 10 successfully on a pre '97 bike with pre '97 hardware.

And yes, I want pre '97 1 x 10 bike porn pictures.

:)

You can run a 10 speed cassette on XTR M900 and XT 737 (and later) hubs. 8,9 and 10 use the same body (and even 11 fits).

Exactly the kind of feedback we all need, thanks buddy.

Apologies!

I thought this was common knowledge by now - I've wanging on about it for long enough! :xmas-big-grin:
