1994 Cannondale M600

Found the frame and fork cheap on ebay, my mate had one BITD that I used to borrow at every opportunity, but couldn't afford to buy when he sold it on!
Mostly built with stuff I had lying about apart from the crank, seat post and shifters. I've ridden it a few times now and it's a lovely little bike to ride, I think the plan is to eventually be Shimano free, just because I've never been down that route before.

Re:

Looking good! Love the colour of it.
Probably pretty light too I'm guessing?

Re:

Cheers jimo, yes it's a nice colour! Comes out at 23lbs dead, not bad really considering It was thrown together :D

I've just picked one of these up from ebay also.

Rare frames - 1994 only

They are the sloping top tube version of the M3.0 frame. Sort of a cross between the more conservative M2000 frame and the BOTE, but with a lower bottom bracket. The top tube is longer too.

Specialzed and Giant do stems that take shims to adjust the rise. Luckily they are 1 1/4inch without the rise.

I've been playing, changed the wheels and tyres, brakes and handlebars.

Re:

Nice, like the idea of avoiding Shimano parts. Particularly like the braking system with the coda dia compes. Mine came with a broken worn out headset which I found out, was a bugger to replace. Ended up putting loose balls instead of finding a a 1 1/4 sized cage/ball and luckily someone on ebay was selling 11/4 top caps for the aheadset for cheap.
