The stem would look better black, or even polished.

If your keeping the bars on then the fork stanchions would look great gold coated also.

Looking nice whatever you end up doing though :cool:

This build is really getting my juices flowing....great work so far.....then for the agonizing choice of rubber!

Love that you’re using Suntour Self Energisers on the front. I guess that’s another benefit of Pace forks. Let us know how they go — assuming you don’t end up going over the front!

The black tyres on there will stay. Miyata Team Herbold Racing from 1991. Rare as hens’ teeth!

The gold on black looks great :)
I'd say don't be afraid to add more gold fixings - especially where connected directly with black such as bottle cage bolts etc.
