Having major issues with Velobase:FAQ section amongst many other sections is down: There have been major spamming issues with the site from what I can see (I deleted about 20 as an Editor today). Is Velobase website still being admin managed by founder Jon Fischer?

I struggled with that photo system as well. Never got a reply.

After selecting to add a component, I managed to click on the "Basic Uploader" system link (top right hand corner) when using Microsoft Edge as my browser. You have to upload and save the images to your user account via that link before you can then select and upload to Velobase. It is a bit unstable in working every time. I've added a screen grab for anyone who has registered as a contributor to Velobase and needs a reminder (to my mind it's not very intuitive!)

For anyone posting pics on Velobase I have found that Internet Explorer browser (I used IE V11) is best for adding pics using the guidelines I previously posted, but Chrome and Edge are better for adding the listing details. I think this relates to enabling the Flash based picture manager that the site uses. Velobase is not iPAD (Safari) friendly..
