Got a 17” Orange Gringo frame, disc or rim brake. Pm your email address for some photos

Was thinking a gringo would be good, but 17” is going to be too small. Oh well.

How tall are you exactly? The 17” doesn’t look particularly small.

How tall exactly? Five foot eleven and a half, with long legs. My 19” clockwork fits like a glove...

I’m pretty sure a 17” is too small.

Well I’m one inch shorter than you and the one frame that’s fit me best over the last 30 years was my 17” Marin.

All bikes are different sizes, even if they’re all 17”

Of course. The thing is, I’ve got two oranges in the garage... a 19” c16r and a 17” g3. The g3 is my wife’s. I ride it sometimes, and it feels cramped. The c16r is perfect. I rode a 21” once. It was too big.

Maybe I’m wrong and you’re right, but I think I’ve got a pretty good idea of what is going to fit properly especially when it comes to oranges. I’d be very surprised if your gringo is a massive departure from the other oranges I’ve ridden...

Unless we’re talking at cross purposes and you’re measuring c-c?

It’s funny though, there was another thread on here where someone was convinced I really needed a 21”...

I do get though the point that people and frames vary... definitely worth trying different stuff...

Haha... classic Internet forum talking at cross purposes disagreement... that’s a 19 in orange speak. Does that mean that a Marin 17 is what I’d call a 19?

Anyway, sounds perfect depending on what you want for it... will send a pm.
