for winter mud use , cheap ones its not the pad you need to worry about its the full of holes lightweight disc dragging the mug over the pad you need to worry about , find as sold a disc as you can

Never used them but SuperStar do loads of good (so I have heard) cheap pads in a variety of flavours.

Use A2Z sintered on my Kona all year round, very impressed with they performance and the last a long time. To bed in brakes ride around with the brake on for a munite or so, that's it.
