Disc Brake Pad question

Hi fellas,

Just looking for some practical advice on how to bed in new disc brake pads .. :)

And

Whats the best type of pads to use this time of year with all the mud and crap about.. ;)

for bedding in , use them

a smear of copper grease on the back of the pad helps keep the squeel away

for winter mud use , cheap ones  its not the pad you need to worry about its the full of holes lightweight disc dragging the mug over the pad you need to worry about , find as sold a disc as you can

Yea superstar pads, 2 rides and they were blown   not impressed, Just fork'ed out for some EBC Golds ... See how long these last.. hence the reason for the question.. want to make sure I was doing everything right.. :)

To bed your pads/discs in do about 20 sprints braking hard at the end of each, this should cook them nicely making the pads last longer.

Use A2Z sintered on my Kona all year round, very impressed with they performance and the last a long time. To bed in brakes ride around with the brake on for a munite or so, that's it.
