Considering the original intention was to break this to build the Cannondale - I'm very pleased with the outcome. Ironically, It's the Cannondale that will now get broken down as try as I might, the frame is just too small. I'm hoping for a result on the Saracen Kili and move all the parts over to that from the Dale.

When I can, I'll try and get a ride report for the Pine Mountain. A quick spin up and down the drive shows that the forks are working - definitely in the 'lock out' position although there's not a lot of difference between the 2 'movement' settings.

The only update I can add are a few pics showing the Orange toe straps - they finally turned up 3 weeks late!

Other than that.... it's complete!

Here's a spec list for those who are interested.

Frame: Marin Pine Mountain - Browning fork specific geometry.
Tange Prestige ~ Frame number M 91 06 0050
Repainted Matt black and Neon Orange. Reproduction decals

Fork: Browning Suspension fork. 2 x suspension settings / 1x lockout.
Based on what appears to be a modified Tange Super big Fork.

Stem: Original Marin 1 1/4" 'Aheadset' style. repainted gloss black

Handlebar: 580mm Alloy. Repainted 'Neon' orange to match frame

Grips: Ritchey Foam True grips

Barends: Not this time.

Brakes: Shimano BR- M650 Deore DX

Brake Pads: Non original - Mat change this depending on how it rides.

Cantilever cable hangers: Shimano.

Shifters: Shimano ST - M075 Deore Dx

Front Derailleur: Shimano FD-M605 Deore DX 31.8mm bottom pull

Rear Derailleur: Shimano RD-M650 Deore DX Short Cage

Thanks bkp 8) - here you go!

Back on page 5 - my research bought up some tasty images of the Redline BMX that used the Browning suspension fork.

Turns out that those pics are bkp's and he kindly sent me these images. What a collection! 8) 8)

If any one has a Browning Fork for sale, or even a complete bike that has the Browning fork - such as a Marin or Fusion 0260 - bkp would definitely appreciate a PM!

Cheers.
