Nice work on the repaint, black was a good choice imho. Any other plans after the seat post is swapped out? Looks fairly sorted already!

Just got this built up and dropped a thread in readers rides with a few more pics -

It’s pretty much how I wanted. I want to put a gold pinstripe round the ends of the paint bars to finish them. I’ve also got a 3-speed Benelux set but I quite like it as it is!

That’s better first time it sounded bollocks when I read it. Second time it was complete bollocks.

27mm Paris-Roubaix stuffed to the max with Vittoria pitstop. Super comfy in Amsterdam city traffic - no worries about curbs, badly laid pavement, tiles pushed up by tree roots, etc. - and no flats

Bought the frameset new in 1996 - then with 8sp Ultegra - now singlespeed with a lot of stuff from the spare parts bin.

My first foray into this section of the forum folks...

A 2009 Dolan FXE which I recently bought off eBay. Finished it off yesterday and had a spin on it this morning.

New parts include: Thomson seatpost, Flite saddle, Thomson stem, Ursus Magnus handlebars, Selcof bar tape, Campag Veloce levers, SRAM PC1 chain, DMR pedals - oh and my NOS Gatorade bottle!

42:16 ratio - Flip flop hub, fixed cog will probably remain redundant..
