Hello everyone,

the other day I went shopping for Toilet paper and bread, dropped in at my local bike shop and brought home a presumably late 40s randonneur (Neither bread nor toilet paper were bought that day).

I'd really like to know if that frame was by any known manufacturer.
This frame was painted over and afterwards labelled (Week-End). Remnants of metallic orange/copper are still visible underneath the fork crown and wherever the abominable Gulag gray-ish green chips.
The frame itself weighs 1.9 kgs (without fork), comes with a Le Nervurex aluminium mudguards, a huret derailleur, cyclo rear mech and an Atom hub, Jeay centrepull-brakes and Rosa chain rings on a Supermaxi cottered crank set. The stem is branded BF. The best thing: It has a Huret Lever-shifter.
The guy I bought it from threw Routens and Cycle de France in the ring.

I spent the last couple of evenings taking everything apart and cleaning the parts. I think this one's a keeper (whatever it is).

Best,

Dan
